An exciting opportunity now exists in our Employment & Labour team for a full time Legal Assistant to support a Partner and a team of lawyers.

You will enjoy working within a large team of lawyers alongside other Legal Assistants in a friendly and supportive environment.


Each day is varied as the Employment and Labour team represents clients across many different industry sectors and in many high profile matters.


This role will be well suited to a well-organised administrative professional who demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills and has previous Legal secretarial/administrative experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of correspondence and court documents
Compiling and processing of time sheets
Strong understanding of billing processes and specific client billing requirements
Assisting with telephone enquiries and ability to develop relationships internally and externally
Matter management including opening and closing files, archiving, electronic filing and physical filing
Assisting with and arranging client events and maintaining client distribution lists


Required skills and experience:

At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Advanced knowledge of CMS Aderant or other finance related software
Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationship internally and with clients
