The Production Assistant will help assist the production crew and teams as required and will be responsible for the management of all Asset deliveries from client and distribution to the crew;


Here's what we are looking for:

  • _ Interest in animated films/episodic_
  • Minimal experience within the animation industry. (1 yr preferred)
  • The ability to deal with confidential information and material in a discrete and professional manner at all times;
  • Excellent diary management skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excel knowledge to an advanced level and Microsoft Office skills;
  • High level organizational skills experience in administration and managing files, producing and formatting
- documents and updating spreadsheets;

  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • The ability to work to deadlines;
  • An in depth awareness and understanding of and respect for creative process in the realm of Animation;
  • Be available, proactive and a problem solver;
  • Flexible approach and able to take on extra tasks when required;

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the Producer and Production Crew with production related matters as required;
  • Receiving and tracking asset deliveries from the client, publishing to Shotgun, updating their statuses and
- circulating the new deliveries to Department Supervisors;

  • Maintaining tracking documents with latest information;
  • Flagging any missing or incomplete deliveries from client via the Production Crew;
  • Maintaining Episode Asset Breakdowns by creating one per episode, updating when new assets are issued and
- assigning assets to shots via Shotgun;

  • Assisting with rounds and dailies, tracking notes in Shotgun and updating task statuses as required;
  • Upload any necessary deliveries or reviews to Client when requested;
  • Assisting with projectspecific Front of House duties, like preparing meeting room, getting drinks for clients,
- clearing meeting rooms;

  • Assisting with organizing Inhouse team activities;
  • Attending meetings as necessary, as well as taking and distributing notes to the appropriate parties;
  • Assisting with the importing, labelling, exporting and publishing of client animatic via Avid software;
  • Updating the edit with latest animation from the floor;
  • Ensuring all work remains confidential per code of conduct and security forms;
  • Assisting Supervisors by creating & maintaining reference libraries;
  • Encouraging and maintaining remote team and inhouse team engagement via G Chat Rooms and team
  • Flagging any potential crew issues (either creative or personnel) to Production Crew;
  • Ensure new starters have equipment ready for their induction day.
  • And all other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Production Company.
