Where you'll be working

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.

What you'll be doing
Provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for a patient/client, under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse/Midwife

Selection Criteria

  • Successful completion of Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) with experience in acute care environments deemed appropriate by WSLHD or documented evidence of placement in 1st Year as an undergraduate Registered Nurse at tertiary level documented evidence of enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems
  • Proven ability to be selfmotivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills,, including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
