About the Role


This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and talented research fellow who is passionate about metabolic computational biology and bioinformatics for the study of proteomics and signal transduction.

You will have the chance to work alongside leading experts in the field, conducting cutting-edge research in a state-of-the-art laboratory.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in research independently and as a member of a research team.
  • Contribute to statistical data analysis, using specialised programs for qualitative/quantitative data assessment such as R-Project, Python and/or other programming languages.
  • Downstream analysis of proteomic data to quantify dynamic changes in protein posttranslational modifications to study signal transduction.
  • Downstream analysis of proteomic data to quantify dynamic changes in proteinprotein interactions with an emphasis on crosslinking, and affinitypurificationmass spectrometry data.

Who We Are Looking For

You will also have:

  • A completed PhD or substantial progress towards PhD in a relevant area with demonstrated experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in statistical analysis of proteomics, transcriptomics, and/or genomics using R-Project, Python and/or other programming languages.
  • A proven ability to work with senior researchers to help design, perform and analyse experiments in a timely manner.
  • Perform multiomic data analysis of transcriptomics and proteomics with an emphasis on longread RNAseqdriven proteogenomics.
  • Perform multiomic studies of genomics and proteomics with an emphasis on proteinquantitative trait loci (pQTL) analysis and subsequent phenotypic integrations.
