About the Role:


In line with our client's future growth, we are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and motivated professional in a key strategic leadership position.

This role will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to stakeholders who have unique and complex connection requirements, ensuring our client fulfils its contractual obligations and integrates service delivery efficiently.


Responsibilities:

As the Commercial Manager, you will be at the heart of our company's success, overseeing various critical functions and working closely with the Leadership Team & CEO


Your responsibilities will include:

Driving Efficiency and Accuracy: You will ensure the maintenance and accuracy of staff utilisation of CRM and planning tools, streamlining processes for optimal performance.

Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with Sales Division managers & BDMs to deeply understand market dynamics, fostering connections with potential and existing customers, and industry stakeholders.

Nurturing Customer Relationships: Cultivate and nurture robust customer relationships, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Maximising Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue commercial opportunities to expand the business's capacity and enhance profitability.

Innovative Contract Strategies: Develop and implement insightful contract strategies that maximise profitability and efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Leading Negotiations: Take the lead in commercial negotiations with suppliers and service providers, showcasing your exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

High-Level Commercial Support: Provide high-level commercial support, contributing significantly to the company's success.


About You:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following attributes:


  • Vast Commercial Experience: You have significant experience in a commercial capacity, ideally within the construction or manufacturing sectors, and have successfully managed major customer and stakeholder accounts.

Leadership and Cultural Change: Your track record includes driving growth and fostering cultural change within organisations. You have a demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and planning, guiding the company towards successful outcomes.


Requirements:

To meet the requirements of this role, you should have:


  • Education and Experience: A university degree or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales & Marketing Leadership role.

Pool Heating Experience: Prior experience in the pool heating industry is desired. A deep understanding of pool heating solutions, technologies, and industry trends will enable you to make informed decisions and drive the business forward.

Government and Councils Tender Experience: Experience in dealing with government bodies and councils in the context of tender processes is highly valued. Your ability to navigate the complexities of government contracts and tender submissions will be instrumental in securing strategic projects.

Strong Negotiation Skills & Stakeholder Management: Your sound prospecting, negotiating, and closing skills will be put to good use. Your ability to manage stakeholder relationships will be crucial in driving the company's success.

Driver's License: A current Drivers License is required to travel and support business development activities.
