About the role

In this newly created role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day business development activities and implementation of the local and national business development strategy.

Through research, you'll develop marketing and project opportunities, with both new and existing clients.

You'll provide insight into how best to implement the BD strategy and guide the future business operations to manage the opportunities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a Business Development professional with strong experience in BD principles as they relate to the services industry - in particular, consulting engineering, construction, or architecture.

You'll be able to establish practises which strengthen and guide the way the business and broader team operates in relation to new business and be relationship oriented in your approach.

Local market knowledge in construction and/or the architecture industries is highly preferred.

It goes without saying that you have excellent communication skills, you are comfortable to explore new opportunities that will allow you to make new introductions along the way, you can build relationships with ease and are creative and solutions focused.
