The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to join a small progressive team of 10 team, based in Kirrawee, Sydney, NSW.

This position offers diverse variety in the scope of works, and the opportunity to progress a career in the security industry; staying up to date with the latest technology in security through formal training and certifications.


What you'll be doing:


  • Installation, servicing & maintaining security systems, including but not limited to; security alarms, CCTV, intercoms, IP surveillance & access control
  • Implementation of facial recognition solutions for club & gaming venues
  • Installation of remote site & construction site offgrid security solutions
  • Programming & commissioning of various types of control systems including; cable tray & catenary wire installations; data installation & maintenance
  • Providing afterhours phone support & services calls (as required)

  • Fulltime permanent position, 40 hrs p/w
  • Mon-Fri, between 6am6pm (89 hr days), allowing for some flexibility in hours with a focus on worklife balance
  • Both autonomous & team work environment

  • Formal training & support offered to stay up to date with latest industry technology

Skills & Experience:


  • Cabling, electronics or computer networking experience
  • Knowledge of electronic systems repairs &/or installation
  • Experience in areas such as CCTV, alarms, surveillance systems or access control preferable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience in the electronic security industry
  • Security Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Cabling Licence
  • Current AU drivers licence (manual)
