ROLE


To oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods including accurate data entry into the company's computer software system; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and is responsible for the security and maintenance of the building, plant and equipment and stock.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing data entry, program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Assists the company in improving and developing its policies and procedures to provide a safer working environment
  • Hold warehouse monthly safety meetings, induct and train staff, maintain equipment, machinery and tools.
  • Maintain up to date safety registers which includes warehouse monthly meetings minutes, induction, training record/qualifications, equipment, machinery and tools
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts
  • Conducts annual stocktake, regular stock counts, stock adjustments and allocations
  • Booking repairs for crane, forklift or any other office/warehouse equipment as needed
  • Training new warehouse staff and monitoring their performance and progress
  • Ensures delivery and budget objectives are met
  • Maintain integrity of ERP system
  • Produce and contribute to internal reporting such as Job Costing, Project Registers, Job Sheets

REQUIREMENTS

  • Forklift licence is essential
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems
  • Experience in managing a small team
  • A 'cando' attitude with strong willingness to learn
  • High attention to detail, with strong multitasking and organisational skills

Salary:
$51, $106,152.00 per year
