About the role


As a key member of the TAFE NSW Infrastructure Delivery Team within the Asset Renewal Program, the Assistant Program Manager, is responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of high impact complex capital works projects for major infrastructure replacements.

This position renews existing infrastructure to enable contemporary and flexible learning across the state, creating new, modern and state-of the art infrastructure to accommodate future enrolment growth and improve the student learning experience.

In this role you will oversee the delivery of an assigned program of minor capital works and related projects, in collaboration with external project managers and design consultants, ensuring outcomes align with the originating brief and meet stakeholder expectations and customer requirements.


About You


We're seeking someone with a wealth of experience under your belt where you'll effortlessly manage and deliver multiple intricate projects in live environments.

Your ability to communicate openly, pay attention to the smallest details, and implement structured project planning will be pivotal in ensuring successful outcomes for our stakeholders.


You bring more than just experience to the table; your academic background in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Program Management, coupled with hands-on involvement in delivering Minor Capital Works programs or related projects, sets you apart.

You've honed your skills through navigating various project phases - from initial scoping and design to evaluation and seamless implementation.
