As a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiographer) you will undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography procedures.

Our echocardiography services include both outpatient & inpatient transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography & assisting with transoesophageal echocardiography studies.

What you'll do:

You will report directly to the Lead Specialist Cardiac Physiologist for echocardiography & work close with our team of cardiologists.
You will undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography and basic electrophysiology procedures(ECG & holter monitor attachment)
The role will also involve a range of other support functions assigned by the Clinical Services Manager for the effective operation of the clinical services unit.

Who you are:

You have a post graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound
A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
You possess sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography
Excellent interpersonal & patient care skills withthe ability to show a friendly and professional approach
You are committed to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.
Current Australian Driver's Licenseand ability to work across several locations in the east/southeast Melbourne region on a rotating roster.
