Seeking a Credit & Collections Officer to assist in managing the credit and collections process within a leading Media organisation.

You will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, collecting outstanding payments, and maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Your day-to-day:

Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information
Determine appropriate credit limits based on risk assessment and company guidelines
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate payment collection
Contact customers to address overdue payments, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment plans
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues, working closely with the sales and customer service teams
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of customer interactions, payment history, and collection efforts
Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to develop and implement credit and collection strategies
Provide regular reports on collection activities, delinquency rates, and customer credit profiles
