About the Role:

We have an opportunity at our Richlands, Brisbane branch for a Service Technician Leading Hand.

A varied role that will see you working on a range of equipment across John Deere Construction and Forestry machinery.

This workshop-based role will entail from general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly.

This job will involve:

Assist with the supervision of daytoday workshop operations
Supervise and support allocated employees' work schedules assisting with technical knowledge

where needed.

Provide technical support to the Service Manager in the mechanical and electrical areas ensuring we are

providing customers with the correct fault-finding information

Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned.
Document machine information and repairs completed on work order, including parts, time and fluids

used

Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support

resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

Relevant Trade Certificate
Heavy Diesel Fitter/ Mobile Plant Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic or Equivalent.
A current and valid driver's licence
Experience in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, including engine overhauls and major

repairs
