The Role

Due to the retirement of their long standing, Sydney Employment Lead, the firm are actively in the market to recruit an experienced Employment and Workplace Relations Lawyer.

This Sydney based role will also allow you to build a successful and sustainable career path (for the next decade and beyond) in a straight talking, fun and down to earth environment.

You will also benefit from the reputation of their Employment team interstate (many of their national ER Lawyers and Partners have won notable awards such as Best Lawyers and Doyles Guide for Employment Law and Industrial Relations).

There is also an opportunity for experienced Partners to drive the ER team on a national basis, should that be of interest.

An excellent understanding and local reputation in Employment/Workplace Relations, Industrial Relations or Safety
An experienced lawyer who is currently servicing a range of different clients including SMEs, local subsidiaries of overseas based companies and publicly listed companies in Australia.
Proactively promote and cross sell the firm's services and expertise
Someone who can seek new business opportunities and take well judged risks that grow the firm
Someone who is prepared to drive and maintain a profitable practice, whilst actively pursuing and winning new work for the firm.
Maintaining and growing professional networks which will increase strategic and future focus

This is a clear and distinct opening for someone to make Partnership very quickly (if you are not operating at that level currently), with generous internal referrals and huge day to day support from the other Partners (both locally and interstate).
