About the role:


The Clinical Team Lead is responsible for leading the clinical team to deliver integrated holistic health care, focusing on improving outcomes for clients and the wider community.

They develop evidence-based and innovative clinical services, providing clinical support and guidance to staff.

This role involves conducting assessments, collaborating with young people to develop recovery plans, and coordinating care with internal and external service providers.

They will facilitate intake meetings and case conferences to ensure a collaborative approach to care. Additionally, they engage in professional development activities, mentor students and staff, and participate in organisational quality assurance activities.

They will maintain working relationships with key agencies in the community to establish integrated care pathways for young people, fostering a comprehensive approach to mental health support.


Essential Criteria:


  • Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline including social work or psychology.
  • Registration/membership with the relevant board or association (eg. AHPRA, AASW)
  • Advanced level of clinical skills in a range of mental health service settings
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, and facilitation of clinical reviews and performance
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing work tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and able to foster productive working relations
  • Sound computer literacy and experience with report writing and electronic client information management systems.
  • Experience in service development and maintaining continuous quality improvement.
