The Opportunity


We are currently looking for Network Operations Support Office to join our team based near the Perth Airport on an 18 month fixed term contract for Parental Leave cover.


The Role


As the Network Operations Support Officer you will be responsible for providing effective administrative and business support to the Network Operations team.


The Key duties of the role are:

  • Provide support to Network Operations team as required.
  • Developing and maintaining a 24/7 roster for a large team, meeting fatigue and company policies.
  • Arrange replacement staff to cover sick leave, annual leave and unplanned absences.
  • Administration of timesheets and other payrollrelated documentation and queries
  • Develop Annual Leave rosters to ensure leave clearance while maintaining adequate coverage on a day to day basis.
  • Verify shifts worked for all Network Control Employees against the roster for every fortnightly pay period, ensuring all shifts have been entered correctly in the rostering and Payroll system
  • Be responsible for the general Control centre management including document control, electronic access control, stationery and office supplies for the Network Control centres.
  • Manage and ensure Network Control employees meet the requirements for required training, medicals and assessment of the network control team.
  • General administrative duties as required.

About You
To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Significant administration experience
  • Previous experience in rostering and coordination for large teams
  • Ability to work to deadlines and multitask
  • Welldeveloped conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with, and confidence in using, the Microsoft Suite
  • Proven relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as good interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
