40 years and develops, manufactures and supplies engineering solutions to the bulk handling, chemical, food, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining and minerals industries.

An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced and capable Mechanical Designer to join their team at their facility close to the Port of Brisbane.

The Role
You will be responsible for

producing detailed design work, reporting to the Principal Design Engineer:

Design and development of mechanical plant and equipment:

-
Improvement and customization of existing lines according to customer needs

Detailed design and drafting of
process plant and mechanical equipment using
Inventor:
Ability to produce
concept designs through to detailed
fabrication drawings:
Liaising with key players including design engineers, trades fabrication staff, project managers and customers

You
To be successful in the role you will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Demonstrable track record in a similar position
minimum
three years experience working as a Mechanical Design Draftsperson
High level of competency in
Australian industry standards would be an advantage
Attention to detail
Exemplary communication both written and verbal
Competent in
Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
