About the client:_

Our client produces garden care products. They offer lawn fertilizers and pests, weed control, fertilizer spreaders, and soil wetters, as well as other related products.


They are looking for a reliable and switched-on Production All-rounder who will help the team in their plant in Braeside, VIC.


Production Hours:

-
Day shift (Training): 6:00 am to 2 pm / 5:30 am to 1:30 pm | $35.00 per hour + Super + SAT OT when required

Afternoon Shift:
Mon-Thu 1:15 pm-9:45 pm ($40.25/hr); Fri 10:00 am-4:00 pm ($35/hr) + Super + SAT OT when required


Primary tasks & duties of the role, but not limited to:

  • To support all functions of the production line, assist in performing dispatch duties inkling pick/pack of orders, and loading orders onto trucks. Receiving of raw materials as per the company's raw material receiving process.
  • Prepare raw materials for the production line (Fertilizer prep) as per the production schedule.
  • Operate the production line as required by the production team (Training will be provided)
  • Pick and pack orders for dispatch as well as load orders onto trucks as directed by the delivery schedule and Evergreens procedures.
  • Perform manual pack duties including manually packing the company's 5L range of products.
  • General housekeeping duties as required.
Please note that
Onboarding & Training will be conducted on the
day shift, at approx. 3 weeks (depending on the individual)

Requirements:


  • Forklift license (essential)
  • Frontend Loader ticket (essential)
  • Factory / Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Physically fit to lift to 25 kg bags.
  • Can operate a machine or willing to be trained to operate a bagging machine.
