You will be working for a foundation that support many charities, so if you are community minded and have worked in the "Not for Profit" sector and/or have had Company secretarial experience, this role has your name on it
_The Role_
This position is Corporate, professional and technical, and includes the following requirements:
- Strong understanding of Accounting principles with experience in preparing financial accounts and managing cash investments.
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar environment
- CPA/CA qualified
- Experience with JP Morgan would be very advantageous
- Ability to upscale and improve systems, processes and documentation.
- Excellent coomunication, presentation and report writing skills
- Appropriate handling of sensitive information
Duties and responsibilities:
Investment Management including:
- Processing trade, currency conversions and payments on JP Morgan
- Coordinating account openings
- Reconcilliation of Bank Accounts with Fund Managers
- Revalue investments on a monthly/ quarterly basis
- Preparation of Monthly investment reports
- BAS preparation
- Prepare and lodge franking credit return
- ACNA lodgement obligations
- Reporting and disclosures obligations for Non for Profits.
- Coordinate and liaise with auditors and assist in the closing audit queries
- Prepare annual Financial Statements
- Preparation of mangement and Board reports
- Supporting the monthend process
- Liaising with key members and senior members accross the business
- Manage to quarterly management fee recharge
- Support the business to validate and prepare donations
- General cash management and reconcilliations
- Responsible for all governance requirements, including maintaining Director registers, Entity registers and all ASIC lodgements
- Prepare and itemise all Board Minutes and approvals.
- Build a Document library for the Foundation.
Vital to this role, you have to be "hands-on" and willing to undertake the "end-to-end" Accounting that covers all daily, monthly and annual Finance activities for the Foundation.
