About the role


To support our success we are looking for an Operational Communications Specialist to join the Customer Marketing & Communications team based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

As an Operational Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, verification and delivery of operational communication to Australian Retirement Trust members.


This will see you:

  • Assist in the development of the optimal communication journey to meet operational and transactional communication needs.
  • Create exceptional customer centric communications ensuring they portray technical and legislative information in an engaging yet simple way.
  • Coordinate the production process for operational documents, including the compliance, legal and verification processes.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate these into clear, concise and effective highquality communications that are understood and enjoyed by stakeholders.
  • Engage and influence the business and team to understand and communicate dependencies, schedules, priorities and achievability of both organisation wide initiated projects and change
This role is available as an initial 12 month max-term/ secondment opportunity.


We are
flexible with location provided you can attend or Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office at least once a week.


About you
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business management or project management.
  • Experience in large scale marketing, product or brand change or transformational programs in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully planning, and managing marketing projects of complexity, cost and/or value in a medium sized corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated record of successful project delivery with a focus on delivery to scope, schedule, cost, and quality plans.
  • Proven knowledge of, and experience using recognised project management methodologies and tools, in particular agile methods.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, Agile & PRINCE2 project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead the development of solutions with a focus on business enablement and outcomes.
  • Proven ability/experience in corporate and project procurement processes including tendering.
  • Demonstrated experience with coaching Project specialists.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding the function of governance structures in a medium sized corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated superior skills in understanding project risk management.
