We are now looking for a Regional Manager WA/SA/NT to join our unique Salvos Stores team Join our crew and feel rewarded for making a difference.

Come join our team as a Regional Manager, where you will support the General Manager of Retail in furthering the mission of The Salvation Army.

You will achieve this by providing strategic leadership and direction in the designated regional areas - ensuring sales is maximized and profitability (surplus) is met.

This role will allow you to enhance your skills across leadership, retail strategy and stakeholder management.

You will lead a team of dedicated employees and volunteers to achieve the vision, mission, and values of the Salvos Stores; as well as provide coaching to people managers.


Another key responsibility of the role is to Implement development frameworks to align workforce capability with the organisation's current and future priorities and objectives.

Thus, driving strategy and a "big picture focus" within your own area of responsibility

Whilst no two days will look the same you can expect to:

  • Develop and drive strategies in collaboration with the Marketing and Product team, to maximize sales and surplus return.
  • Develop and manage state based strategic plans for development and viability of new stores and refurbishment of existing stores, in consultation with relevant stakeholders within the Salvos Stores
  • Develop and monitor budget for each respective state to ensure development and growth of sales and surplus are in line with Salvos Stores strategic plan

You are an experienced executive leader in retail, who has demonstrated experience in delivering positive retail results ideally in a not-for-profit organisation.

You are also equipped to manage and coach a diverse team of retail managers across state regions.
