About the role

An excellent opportunity is now available for an experienced Digital Communications Specialist to join the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator's (NHVR) Corporate Affairs division.

Within the NHVR, the Corporate Affairs division is responsible for pre-empting and responding to government and external stakeholder requirements and demands.

Reporting to the Senior Digital Communications Officer, you will be responsible for editing and updating content on our various digital channels including website and intranet, ensuring that these platforms stay fresh, engaging and user friendly.

You will also have accountability for completing project-based work which is focused on enhancing the end user experience across the NHVR digital platforms.

This is a temporary full-time position until 30 June 2024, based in Newstead's vibrant Gasworks precinct - close to transport, cafes and end of trip facilities.

About You

With a tertiary qualification in communications, digital communication, or a related discipline, you have proven experience working in a similar role, and can confidently demonstrate your skills updating and maintaining websites in content management systems.

Prior experience using Drupal will be highly regarded.

The customer is at the heart of all that you do.

You are comfortable independently working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and can demonstrate your experience working on projects where you have identified customer pain points and implemented solutions to resolve them.

Pairing your highly developed attention to detail with excellent time management skills, you thrive under tight timeframes and can effectively manage a diverse range of multiple concurrent projects.

Whilst not mandatory, prior experience in the Adobe suite is desirable.
