The General Manager of Business Operations and Performance is responsible for leading, driving and managing the customer experience and support strategy, business intelligence, forecasting and reporting, P&L (budget) and functional improvements for the Wholesale & Infrastructure BU.

Reporting into the COO and managing a national team totaling 22, both onshore and offshore.


Key to success will be the ability to meet customer and internal teams/members expectations and business agreed metrics, optimise revenue and efficiencies, reduce costs, forecast accurately and meet all budget metrics that are defined based on data insights.

Some other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


Responsibilities:


  • Drive and deliver the operations and process improvements within a sales organistion to create a best in market customer experience
  • Lead, select, develop, and coach team members/leaders, ensuring efficient operation of the function and cross functionally across the division
  • Support and supervise the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources, along with overseeing the development, defining, and processing of the sales incentive plan/s
  • Coordinate and participate in the compilation of budgets and forecasts and presenting them to higher management for approval and working to achieve and operate within these agreed budgets taking accountability for the overall financial performance.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and articulate methodologies and results to nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to use the dynamics and value drivers of the business strategy to make decisions about the impact of changes with an understanding and appreciation of the financial implications of decisions and their impact.
  • Strong analytical, operational, and commercial capabilities proven to be able to manage a large budget
  • Proven ability to develop corporate infrastructure, including policies procedures and systems
  • Strong influencing, motivational and leadership skills with sound administrative skills and a proven record of successful staff management
