What you will contribute to:


Report directly into the Branch Manager:

  • Lead and manage your team in a safety-first culture
  • Supervise and schedule day to day operations of the material recovery facility for afternoon shift
  • Drive operational efficiencies within the team, review and improve plant performance, production volumes and endproduct quality
  • Work with line management in the development and management of operational targets
  • Ensure all prestart, postrun, and minor day to day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
  • Ensure site is compliant with all relevant protocols and regulations
  • Coordinate and work with maintenance to ensure plant uptime targets are achieved
  • Lead performance management investigations and outcomes
  • Able to drive FEL and Forklift with valid licence(Preferred but not a requirement).

Your skills and experience

  • Previous experience managing a team
  • A passion and commitment for safety
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and team player
  • Experience with regulators (EPA, Council, Safety, etc) (desirable)
  • Excel and Word experience
