What you will contribute to:
Report directly into the Branch Manager:
- Lead and manage your team in a safety-first culture
- Supervise and schedule day to day operations of the material recovery facility for afternoon shift
- Drive operational efficiencies within the team, review and improve plant performance, production volumes and endproduct quality
- Work with line management in the development and management of operational targets
- Ensure all prestart, postrun, and minor day to day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
- Ensure site is compliant with all relevant protocols and regulations
- Coordinate and work with maintenance to ensure plant uptime targets are achieved
- Lead performance management investigations and outcomes
- Able to drive FEL and Forklift with valid licence(Preferred but not a requirement).
Your skills and experience
- Previous experience managing a team
- A passion and commitment for safety
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills and team player
- Experience with regulators (EPA, Council, Safety, etc) (desirable)
- Excel and Word experience
