TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES


To provide administrative support and aid your development in the transport and logistics industry over a period of time by providing data entry and administrative support across the business departments such as Billing, Accounts Payable and Receivables, Data Entry - Freight and Cold store administration, driver fatigue and heavy vehicle compliance, Debrief, PODs, Receivals, Pallet Control and Customer Service departments.


  • Data Entry of con notes, manifest, POD
  • Scanning paperwork into the system
  • Debriefing of drivers paperwork
  • Completing daily cross checks and reconciliation of trip pack paperwork (logbook vs Fatigue sheet, Pallet documentation etc )
  • Reviewing log sheets and validating any down time to remove time wastage
- inputing orders

  • Sorting connotes by destinations by trips
  • Process and charge connotes
  • Generate and issue invoices to customers
  • Respond to customer queries

  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics role advantageous

  • Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
