Suitable applicants for this role
must
have the following:
- Minimum 2 years experience working with primary schoolaged children
- You have a Diploma or Certificate IV Children's Services, OSHC, Recreation; or Degree or Diploma Primary Teaching
- You have First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis management certification
- Current paid Working With Children Check (WWC)
- You have knowledge and understanding of all legislation relevant to OSHC
- Police Check
- 2 relevant references from an education/childcare setting
About the role:
The Nominated Supervisor position is a full time role to lead our OHSC services in Menai.
- Lead the development, planning and implementation of quality programs for children, incorporating feedback into the program designed
- Ensure all education programs are delivered in accordance with the learning framework, and are adapted for children's individual needs
- Manage daytoday operations of before/after school care service operations
- Lead the team in ensuring the implementation of and compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) including the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law and Regulations
- Manage, develop and mentor the OSHC team, providing professional development and guidance
