RBGV is a Victorian Government agency that manages Melbourne and Cranbourne Gardens, and over one million specimens of plants, algae, and fungi native to Australia held at the National Herbarium of Victoria.

What You'll Do
The Aboriginal Learning Facilitator works in a team of other Aboriginal and non-Indigenous Learning Facilitators.
This position is responsible for developing and facilitating cultural and non-cultural learning programs to school groups focusing on high quality learning outcomes.
In addition the position will contribute to the development and review of First Peoples focused programs and First Peoples representation and cultural safety throughout learning programs.
It will also contribute to community and educational initiatives, partnerships and outreach within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
The Learning and Participation team is an incredibly supportive and collaborative team where great consideration has been given to the onboarding, mentoring and development of the employees.

In this position you will bring your knowledge of local and nationwide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and your ability to deliver high-quality programs to a diverse audience.
In addition to your great communication and presentation skills you will work well with a team, have good time management and organisational skills as well as a positive attitude.
