Inventory Controller

  • Successful smallgoods manufacturer seeking the perfect fit for this new role_


Our client has seen exponential growth over the last few years and is a market leader within the food production industry.


We are currently looking for Warehousing specialists for their site based in Yatala area, controlling the flow and data input of inbound and outbound goods to the warehouse, factory and despatch.


Would be working with despach team, picking orders, forklift duties, overseeing stock storage processes, liaising with operations team, producing inventory reports and more.


  • Please note that this is an autonomous role as the Warehouse grows and expands, so will the team. Therefore, requires someone that is willing to get their hands dirty and run a warehouse end to end._
The day-to-day operations of these roles are fundamental to the continued growth and success of the company.


Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining effective inventory and warehouse strategies
  • Use of forklifts to organise/move goods
  • Process inbound and outbound goods, following up on any discrepancies
  • Handson warehouse operations when required picking, packing, unloading, labelling.
  • Day to day assisted reports
  • Monitoring and rotating stock where required
  • Checking stock rotations and stocktakes
  • Responsible to ensure adequate stock of packing materials are maintained
  • Scanning products, preparing paperwork for transport.
  • Adhering to and promoting Workplace Health and Safety best practice

About You:


  • One year minimum in a similar role across warehousing and logistics
  • Current Australian LF licence
  • Computer skills desired
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ideally experience with an ERP System / RF Scanner.
  • Competent inputting and collecting data
  • Excellent communication & problemsolving skills.
  • Motivated to get the job done with a get up and go drive
  • A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement & learning.
