Temporary Full Time from April 17th 2023, until April 16th, 2024 (Parental Leave Cover)

Yarra Libraries are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Children's' and Youth Services team. In this role, you will support the literacy needs of children by developing and delivering library services and programs.

We're looking for someone who knows how early literacy develops and can confidently perform in front of large, diverse crowds, whilst maintaining strong, effective relationships with our community.

We are a world-class public library service, who provide an inclusive and stimulating environment to our community.

The position is currently based at Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library.

The successful applicant will be expected to deliver required programs across all five library branches, at outreach events, and online.

Regular customer service shifts, including weekends, are also expected. Certification as a 3A - Abecedarian Approach practitioner will be highly regarded, though training is offered.
