As integral member of the leadership team, you will utilise your organisational skills to successfully plan and manage the execution of daily tasks and activities across all aspects of the site.

The roles provide a single point of site supervision accountability and responsibility for each individual Project and Services Line to EG's Operations Administration Officers.

Building productive working relationship with the Project Manager, Site Assurance Coordinators and Clients, you will be the key to ensuring the provision of efficient and effective project execution through complying to client's and statutory requirements as well as all relevant company policies and procedures.

Description:

What does the role involve?

The roles ensure that Eastern Guruma scarce resources are used effectively, efficiently and safely. That work schedules are met, work is completed to contract specifications and that operations supervision are always maintained.

Another critical aspect of the role is to ensure that leadership and deployment of all Eastern Guruma assets across its diverse range of core, supplementary and ancillary service offerings consistent with company and industry policy standards.

Other key responsibility include:

Participate and/or facilitate all Eastern Guruma 'mission-critical' site meeting interfaces: Start-ups, HSE related, Quality Management System related, Tool-Box and Staff Meetings as required.

Direct and supervise onsite responsibility for operations and scarce resource management, asset deployment and resource utilisation for (the appointed) EG line of business.

Provide supervisory project or service management and performance management and monitoring of all operations personnel under control.

Assist the PM, PE or SM and Site Superintendents with any site-specific HR/IR functions, control of employee numbers and terms of engagement as required, always consistent with policy.

Assist the PM, PE or SM and Site Superintendents to ensure the Maintenance Register and site interface with the Asset Register; including assets deployed with JV Partners or clients is adequate.

Ensure adequate supervision of all jobs (projects, works or tasks), timely promulgation of information, site documentation and optimal management of 'scarce resources' occurs.

Liaise with site clients and EG staff to ensure costs are controlled, services are expedient, mitigate scope creep or identify need for variations.

Coach, mentor and train any and all staff within the firm as may be required.

Skills and Experiences:

What are we looking for?

You will have relevant skills and experience in similar role most essentially in mining rehabilitation and buck earthworks and can demonstrate evidence in coaching, mentoring and leading your team to success.

Essential criterial include:

Demonstrated participation and leading of site meeting interfaces: Start-ups, HSE related, Quality Management System related, Tool-Box and Staff Meetings.
Demonstrated definitive onsite responsibility for operations and scarce resource management, asset deployment and resource utilisation.
Demonstrate evidence of successful site communications processes to provide inputs and assistance to maintain project schedules.
Demonstrated evidence of successful supervisory performance management and monitoring of all operations personnel.

Demonstrated evidence of providing assistance to operational staff including the management of rosters, leave, timesheets, personnel and sub-contractors, including non-billable hours.

Demonstrated evidence of continual compliance with all Company Policy and Procedure, reporting any hazards or non-conformities promptly.
Demonstrated evidence provision of technical support to staff, sub-contractors and clients.

Demonstrated evidence of the utilisation and management of the Maintenance Register and site interface with the Asset Register; including assets deployed to clients.
