SC1 Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with members of the school community including staff, students, parents and visitors.

SC2 Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems, software such as Compass, CASES 21 or technical equipment as relevant to the position

SC3 Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills and capacity to work collaboratively with the team.

SC4 Capacity to provide First Aid services to students.

SC5 Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.


Responsibilities:


General Administrative Duties
Undertake general administrative duties as described in the typical duties of ES Range 2.


In particular:


  • Management of Office reception and switchboard
  • Enrolment inquiries from prospective parents and school community
  • Word processing support including documents and correspondence for the Principal class and minutes of various meetings
  • Provide administration support to School Council.
  • Maintain assets register/annual stock take
  • Maintain admin photocopier
  • Empty Autoloader
  • Photocopying as required
  • Preparation of orders for school supplies
  • Filing of school documents
  • Assist with archiving of school records
  • Assist with First Aid when required
  • Other duties as required by Principal & Business Manager, in line with role classification

Human Resources

  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Assist with identification of own training needs***
    Delivery of School Services
  • Reception duties, including provision of information to the school community via telephone and personal contact in relation to enrolments.
  • Setup voice mail & messages
  • Assist with Compass
  • Ordering for Principal class and Administration
  • Receive, distribute and dispatch incoming/outgoing and internal mail
  • Maintain franking machine and neo post folding machine
  • Organise courier as required
  • Visitor Management
  • Signing student in and out
  • Assist with communication between parents, staff, students and the wider community.
