We are a fast-growing FMCG company located in major Australian cities specializing in the importing and distribution of Asian food products to Australian and New Zealand markets.
An opportunity exists in Villawood, NSW, for an experienced Account Executive/Manager to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Manage and develop a portfolio of products in the Korean grocery market and maximize product distribution. Build a strong market for Ettason and secure Ettason's position to be the Asian Foods supplier of choice.
Business Development & Strategy
Drive sales by implementing strategic direction, and long & short-term objectives for the division;
Analyze and monitor competitor activities as well as product, market, and industry trends to ensure the company is maintaining a competitive edge.
Work closely with Account Managers and their customers within the head office level in category development/ management.Sales Planning and Reporting
Monitor budgets, liaise with buyers, and analyze sales statistics to forecast sales targets and consumer trends.
Monthly sales reporting on revenue and margin performance;
Regular communication of progress and reporting sales performance to the Head of Sales.
Account/ CRM
Support and closely manage relationships with customers and build relationships based on reliability, friendship, and customer service beyond the call of duty;
Manage all aspects of customers' accounts, category reviews/ development, new line presentation, promotional planning, etc;
Provide accurate information to customers in a timely manner (eg. Product information, delivery status, new products, sales opportunities, marketing plans);
Marketing & Promotions
Build & implementing annual sales & marketing strategies and programs, promotional activities, and materials to drive sales volume;
Represent the company in trade events, promotional events & activities;
General
Assist with any ad hoc duties as directed by Channel Sales Manager;
General timely reporting to Channel Sales Manager.
Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively in the Korean language
Possess a valid driving license
1-3 years of national account management experience within the food industry;
Excellent verbal & written communication, and negotiation skills, including rapport building;
Strong time management and organizational skills;
MS Office skills are required for reporting and presentation purposes
Effective problem-solving skills with the capability of developing solutions to increase efficiency & improve service delivery to customers;
Solid sales, negotiating, and account/territory management skills
Exceptional listening and customer service skills;
Numerical and trade maths confidence;
Articulate, personable, and friendly
