Our client is one of Australia's leading polymer compounders.

ISO accredited, very well-established and growing, it supplies both standard and customised products to a diverse customer base across Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Melbourne's Western suburbs, this key management role is now available

Your new very hands-on position will see you work closely with customers and the production team to develop products and processes to meet client expectations.

You are detail focused, a great troubleshooter and problem solver - with good commercial nous. Your focus on quality is critical, as is the ability to prioritise and self-manage to achieve the company's objectives

The successful applicant will likely have a material or polymer science or related qualification and will really enjoy laboratory work, running pilot scale product development runs and developing your experience of compound performance across a wide range of industrial and consumer end products.

Past experience with PVC and or plastic compounding would be very well received.

You will be hands-on and an excellent communicator with people from all walks of life. Attention to detail, a focus on quality and a safety-first mindset are critical. Some travel will be required from time to time.
