About the roleProvide advanced clinical expertise and care in the delivery of formulation-driven therapy (psychological and psychosocial interventions) to consumers of public mental health services, whose behaviours are causing harm or putting themselves or others at risk of harm.
This role has the responsibility for the provision of consultation-liaison community forensic services, with a focus on capacity building of other general mental health staff and Hospital and Health Service (HHS) treating teams.
The role requires the provision of training, mentoring, and support for less experienced clinicians in the forensic service, as well as provision of supervision to other mental health staff, where required.
