Our client is a not-for-profit and has been providing support to ageing members of the community for over 30 years.

They are currently seeking a
Quality and Safety Coordinator to join their passionate team in
Balcatta, WA.


As a community-centric organisation, it provides residential aged care, in-home care, and retirement living services to Mirrabooka, Balcatta and surrounding areas.

Our client's 300 employees provide culturally appropriate support and care, working in partnership with older individuals and their families.

About the opportunity


As the Quality and Safety Coordinator, you will provide essential support and advice to the Residential Aged Care Manager, Clinical Lead and the wider team.

Using your understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards, your aim will be to continuously improve and enhance the organisation's care and services.

You will ensure all policies and procedures are compliant with current legislation and accreditation requirements.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the Quality Management System is maintained and updated
  • Coordinating organisational safety and risk management data
  • Assisting with employee engagement surveys
  • Document control, reporting and statistical analysis
  • Auditing policies and procedures and providing action plans
Additionally, you will have an understanding of National Quality Indicators, Clinical Indicators, and Hazards, Incidents, and SIRS Management.


About you
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role. You will have a valid Driver's License and be up to date with all COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.
