In this role you will be a key partner within the business for payroll across all monthly and weekly paid employees, covering both white and blue collar sectors.

A day in the life
We're looking for an experienced payroll leader with outstanding people skills to join our HR Team.
- Support and enhance management of Australian (AU) and New Zealand (NZ) payroll for all monthly and weekly paid employees, covering both white and blue collar sectors.
- The opportunity to make recommendations, amendments or improvements to system functions, transactions, and processes.
- Be the goto payroll expert, translating legislation, policy and Enterprise Agreement's into payroll systems.
- Lead and manage payroll related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small team of local payroll experts
- Coach an offshore team with training and knowledge sharing.
- Key contact for any escalated payroll queries, redundancy calculations and payroll audit preparations.
- Work with stakeholders to translate changes to Nestlé Policy, agreements and AU/NZ legislations into SAP and time management systems and make necessary system configuration changes.
- Provide payroll expertise to nonSAP payroll markets in Oceania as required.
What will make you successful
- Suited to someone who has solid payroll management experience and has complete organisation payroll understanding
- You will have solid excel skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes essential.
- Knowledge and use of SAP, SuccessFactors is essential whilst knowledge of Kronos will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work with remote team members and demonstrated experience in business continuity planning.
- A confident communicator who is highly analytical and reliable, you will build relationships with key stakeholders at each Nestlé location across Oceania.
- A strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
- Results orientation, with the ability to prioritise rapidly, and strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
- The ability to build and maintain a strong crossfunctional network.
- Experience in leading, coaching and developing a team
