The Opportunity


Reporting to the ANZ Payroll Operations Manager, this newly created role will work across the Australia and New Zealand payroll team on an 18 month fixed term contract (payrolling 2200+ people), working on a number of payrolls as the team resources up to transform our Time 7 Attendance system.


The Accountabilities

  • Provide backup support to payroll officer colleagues (eg during periods of peak workload, leave, system testing etc
  • Review payroll ticketing system regularly to identify 'stuck' issues and collaborate to resolve
  • Conducting reconciliations as required
  • Participating in "Project Tomorrow" (our project to move time and attendance on Kronos to a new system)
  • Participation in internal and external supplier, auditor, or other payroll related audits

The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

  • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Learning agility
  • Experience in payroll of a waged workforce
  • Preceda and Kronos experience is desirable but not essential
  • Minimum 5 years end to end Australian Payroll experience
