The role:
A newly created residential leadership opportunity, reporting to the Manager Health, Safety, Environment and Training, this key role is designed to develop, implement and maintain effective HSE systems and processes for the companies 3 mining operations in regional NSW.

Direct Reports: 2
Scope: 500 direct employees / Up to 1000 contractors at site
Core responsibilities:
- Oversight of Health & Safety activities on 3 mine sites
- Providing quality documentation and training tools to company standards
- Ensure industry best practice is adhered to across operations
- Implementing training and assessment materials
- H&S Strategical thinking and leadership
- Facilitating site safety audits
- Ensure the quality of training is maintained
Key requirements:
- Qualifications related field
- Mine safety leadership experience
- Strong coaching ability
- Positive attitude towards safety
- Hands on type operator
- Experience conducting site audits
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
