About the Role:

The Policy Officer contributes to the development and implementation of the regional Landscape Plan and Business Plan, contributes to a range of planning projects, and ensures that strategic and collaborative partnerships and working relationships are established that facilitate optimum results for establishing Adelaide as a cooler, greener, wilder and climate resilient city.

This ASO5 Policy Officer position is currently being advertised along with an ASO6 Senior Policy Officer position within the same workgroup.

Contract:

12 months initially, with the possibility of an extension.

Desirable Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in environmental, planning, natural resources management, social sciences or related areas.

Special Conditions:

May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Regional and interstate travel including overnight absences may be required.

Remuneration:

ASO5 - $84,522 min - $94,003 max p.a.
