Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Program Advisory Team in Sydney require an
Associate Director with Digital/Data experience, to join this highly successful team.


Our Program Advisory business advises our client's on how to set-up, transform, optimise, and operate major programs across the infrastructure and natural resource sectors.

The business unit is an integral part of Turner & Townsend's core global business and an important part of our future strategic business growth plan.


Job Description:

This is a senior client-facing role. You will build and maintain high-quality relationships with key clients in our target markets. You will play a key role in building our team's capability and culture. A significant amount of your time will be spent leading consulting/advisory assignments for clients.

You will excel in your role as a key contributor and leader in multi-disciplinary advisory teams.

Your deep knowledge and experience in digital, data, systems and technology will be critical to the success of our work.


Specific role responsibilities are set out below:

  • Being a key contributor and leader in exciting and challenging commissions that improve the way an organisation develops its capital strategy, assesses and allocates capital, and sets up its major programs and projects for success.
  • Being an active and empathetic leader of integrated advisory teams, taking ownership of commissions from start to finish, and directing and coaching our consulting staff.
  • Providing bestpractice advice and handson help to our clients in relation to establishing, transforming, operating and optimising major programs and projects.
  • Deploying a variety of consulting techniques to improve performance across the capital and project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Currently in Australia with full working rights:

  • Project experience in one or more of the following sectors: rail, aviation, power & utilities, renewables, or defence.
  • Significant experience in providing valueadding advice to clients in the infrastructure, natural resources, or construction sectors, especially in the areas of setup, delivery and operation of major capital projects and programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of business improvement approaches and frameworks (for example: business process definition, systems thinking and requirements assessment, data analysis and the appropriate change management methods to support implementation).
  • Excellent client engagement and senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelors degree or other recognised professional qualification in one of the following fields: Management Consulting, Business Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Contract Management, Project Management, Project Controls or Information Technology.
