How will I help?


This role plays a leadership role in driving, implementing and managing risk management and monitoring obligations in Corporate and Institutional Banking.


As an Executive Manager you will be responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders on all matters risk and control, developing pragmatic solutions to risk and control problems through the end-to-end value chain remediation and project change programs including identifying and developing risk transformation control environment.


Responsibilities are but limited to:

  • Leading a team of risk professionals in risk in change delivery who provide risk expertise to the Corporate & Institutional Banking business with key change initiatives, transformation and remediation.
  • Partnering with the Corporate & Institutional Banking Senior Management team in driving and strengthening identification, assessment and remediation of risk issues effectively in change programs, transformation and remediation
  • Partnering with CIB COO and PMO through Business Strategic Review investment strategy prioritisation to drive CIB Risk Appetite Metrics and controls strategy to improve control environment future investment.
  • Developing and executing a risk culture, capability uplift plan to continue to strengthen the risk awareness and ownership of risk throughout the business project change initiatives to achieve delivery excellence through Change Execution.
  • Working closely with leadership teams and Product Management team to identify and enable more efficient and effective risk practices in the business for risk in change design and assessments through risk remediation or rectification of change.
  • Providing leadership support to the business with regulatory remediation engagements and development and assessment of risk in change for those investments during business case development.

What do I need?


You will have an undergraduate degree, a degree in Information Technology, Accounting / Finance or an equivalent field is preferable.

Prince 2, Scrum and other equivalent project methodology certifications are desirable and certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) are also advantageous.
