Methodist Ladies' College is one of Australia's most respected and innovative schools, with over 2,000 students from our Early Learning Centre to Year 12.

Applications are invited for the full-time, ongoing position of Assistant Swimming Head Coach, working within the Physical Education & Sport Department.

The Physical Education and Sport Department is a large, professional and energetic team. MLC Swimming is highly valued and conducts a very successful program catering for over 475 swimmers.

The Assistant Swimming Head Coach along with the Swimming Head Coach is responsible for the development of all swimmers in the MLC Aquatic squad program.

The Assistant Swimming Head Coach works closely with the Swimming Head Coach in a 2IC capacity.

Together these staff with the support of the Head of Community Sport will ensure that the competitive squad program is focused on achieving the best possible competitive swim results, adhere to pre-determined enrolment numbers and help each swimmer to be their best.

The role is also responsible for all aspects of the National Squad including session planning, coaching, swimmer progression, associated administrative duties and attendance at camps and competitions throughout the swim season.
