The Talent and Culture (T&C) Risk Assurance Manager is critical to making this happen and will drive employee experience by providing assurance on the T&C Tribe's risk profile.

The role is to support the T&C Assurance Lead for a T&C Tribe in the following areas:

risk reporting to key stakeholders
identifying control and process weakness within T&C Tribe
performing risk assessments of new initiatives

driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement for a risk assurance for risk capability and compliance with regulatory requirements.


This role is accountable for:

Effectively supports the T&C Tribe in minimizing losses or compliance breaches by realizing opportunities via effective implementation of the risk management framework
Proactively identifies gaps and areas for improvement in process and work with the T&C Tribe to develop internal controls to mitigate any operational or compliance risk
Resolves and/or escalates complex matters to the T&C Assurance Lead and Tribe and T&C risk management forums in a timely manner to ensure closure and adequate remediation
Maintains date integrity through robust governance, and continuously improve the quality of data while supporting internal risk assessments, control design and testing and risk remediation activities


Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008


Schedule:
Full-time, 40hrs/week


Role Type: 21 months Fixed-term

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Exposure to and thorough understanding of "Identify, Assess and Manage" (I.AM) Framework
Proven ability to work in a team and proactively contribute ideas to continuously improve team performance.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in developing useful and insightful risk reporting.
Knowledge and experience in health and safety policy and procedures and CPS 220 APRA regulations.
Demonstrated track record of working to deadlines and being efficient and organized in all operations.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
