Recent graduate or currently enrolled 2nd to 4th year in relevant discipline
Qld Government, offering 12 months with possible further 2 x 12 month extension

Fantastic opportunity for Undergraduate (or recent Graduate) to work within a leading QLD Government Office based in Nerang on Qld Gold Coast.

Based within the Department's Property Coordination Team, the role will work closely with the Department's central Property division and other relevant teams to manage property matters for the region, including securing of land for various projects and managing land owned by the State Government.

The position will be assisting in a variety of tasks including:

property resumptions, early acquisitions, native title, disposal of land, tenure rectification, planning protection, leasing and maintenance matters, and landowners consent agreements

- preliminary research and analysis, gathering and providing information and recommendations, and escalating complex issues to the supervisor

Variety of administrative taks and preparatino of memos, briefs and letters
Liaising, consulting and maintaing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this great opportunity, applicants will meet the following requirements:

Recent graduate or 2nd, 3rd or 4th year enrolment in a relevant bachelor's degree (urban and regional planning, property valuation, environmental or town planning) or in another profession relevant to this role.
Current holder of a Class C driver's
Required to undergo employment screening (for example a criminal history check) as part of our selection
OH&S Construction Induction (white card or equivalent) will be required by the successful applicant
