Role Overview:
A rare and newly created opportunity to join the team, as our Sales Trainer.
The position will see you play a pivotal role in enhancing the sales performance and capabilities of our field sales teams across Australia.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive sales training programs to equip our sales representatives with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, interactive training sessions for field sales representatives, covering topics such as product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and customer relationship management.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs, develop training materials, and establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify gaps in knowledge or skills and provide constructive feedback and coaching to sales team members.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to ensure training content remains relevant and aligned with market demands.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, including inperson workshops, online modules, roleplaying exercises, and onthejob shadowing, to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the sales organization, encouraging ongoing skill enhancement and career advancement opportunities.
You will have:
- Proven experience in inhome sales or face to face (B2C) sales training. Preferably within the solar energy industry however not essential.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with a track record of driving sales performance improvement.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences of varying levels of experience and expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to develop training materials, that are tailored to different learning objectives and audience demographics.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to conduct training sessions in different locations across Australia.
