This family owned and operated Auto Electrical, Air Conditioning and Mechanical repair workshop specialise in the diagnosis and repair of all vehicle types including passenger cars, 4WD, caravans, trucks, trailers and equipment.
Based In Greenwood, this business has built a reputation for high quality customer service and workmanship.Due to their continued growth and busy workshop, they are currently looking to add a 1st year Automotive Electrical Apprentice to join their highly experienced team.
We are offering a permanent position within the company with focus on employment opportunities upon completion, perfect for those looking for a long-term career within the business.
Throughout the 4-year program you will receive first class training and you can expect to learn from the industry's best within a safe and supportive environment that promotes development.
What we are looking for:
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the Automotive Electrical and Air Conditioning trade
- A willingness to commit to structured, classroom based and, on the job training
- An aptitude for technical/electrical/mechanical work
- Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills
- Someone with a strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
You will ideally possess:
- Completed Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate II (desirable but not essential)
- Prior electrical or mechanical experience (desirable but not essential)
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence (probationary acceptable)
- Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency
- Excellent time management skills
- And most importantly eagerness to learn and a personal drive to get things done
- An uptodate resume.
- A copy of your most recent academic report.
- Copies of your educational and trade qualifications.
