Job Description

  • Coordinate the procurement contract execution request (PCER) process.
  • Manage the filing and storage of legal documents into Deeds and on Sharepoint.
  • Manage the site administration rights for maintenance of appropriate filing systems for key documents (both online and in hard copy).
  • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Analyze and summarize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws that may impact the organization.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Coordinate the review and revision process of legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with legal formatting and documentation standards.
  • Prepare and quality control all Corporate Reports and presentations, policies and procedures.
  • Undertake research for the legal team as required.
  • Assist the General Counsel with administration support and any other administration tasks as required.
Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Proven experience working as a paralegal in a corporate or inhouse legal department.
  • Advanced computer skills, MS Word, and experience using Sharepoint an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision, to exercise initiative, to set priorities and to work within required time lines.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to be a team player and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
