About the role


The Payroll Officer is responsible to assist the Payroll Manager in the delivery of the payroll service for all employees of Southern Cross Care (SA, NT & VIC) Inc.


This person will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payment of salaries, allowances and other related payments on Chris for employees.

About you
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.

  • Demonstrated competence in payroll processing and compliance with legislation. Sound knowledge of payroll, time & attendance systems.
  • Experience with Chris21 / ichris / Kronos will be highly advantageous.
  • Proficient computer and keyboard skills and the ability to use Google Workspace as well as Excel, and inhouse databases.
  • Demonstrated commitment to meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work with mínimal supervision, whilst taking ownership of own workload to meet deadlines.
