    Our client, Micks Ally Fab are an aluminium and stainless-steel fabrication specialist company. An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Fitter / Welder to join this renowned local company who value innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results to their clients.

    As a Fitter / Welder, you will bring specialised skills in mechanical fitting and welding to contribute to the creation of products and structures. In this position you would be responsible for producing, assembling, and installing products, as well as performing repairs and maintenance as necessary, all while upholding the highest safety and compliance standards.

    About the Role

    • Conducting comprehensive tests on assembled machinery to ensure proper functionality.
    • Identifying and troubleshooting any malfunctions, replacing components or adjusting fittings as necessary.
    • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
    • Setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment.
    • Conducting quality checks to ensure all finished products meet the highest standards.
    • Maintaining and repairing existing products as needed.
    • Fabricating, assembling, and welding aluminium and stainless-steel components to precise specifications.
    • Collaborating with team members, architects, and professionals to achieve project success and efficiency.
    • Ensuring accurate and quality installation when necessary.
    • Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

    About you

    • Proven experience in a similar role.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Good communication and customer service skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
    • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
