We are a third-party logistics - 3PL - Warehousing and Distribution company situated in the Western Suburbs (Derrimut & Turganina).

We are dedicated to fast, efficient, and flexible processing solutions of imported and local goods (such as apparel, footwear, headwear, fashion accessories, workwear, uniforms, and more) through delivery and on-line order fulfillment.


With over 20 plus years of experience in the fashion and apparel industry we provide solutions to small, medium, and large companies for all their logistics, warehousing, processing, and distribution needs.


What we are looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Leading Hand.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse inbound team, including receiving and organizing inventory, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that all inbound shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.

You will also be responsible for managing and training a team of warehouse associates, as well as implementing and enforcing safety and productivity standards.


To ensure success as our Warehouse Leading Hand you should be able to manifest and understand the requirements stated in this post.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Management of inbound team members
  • Daily allocation and monitoring of tasks and duties
  • Management of holiday and absence.
  • Management of Inbound Process
  • Ensure all supplier deliveries are received, checked, processed and put away within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure all transfers are processed immediately upon arrival into warehouse.
  • Reporting
  • Provide reports to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager as and when requested.
  • Produce internal performance reporting in order that throughput, quality and trends can be monitored and assessed.
  • Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance to all Health and Safety legislation / guidelines for self and staff at all times.
  • Communication
  • Brief staff weekly on operational targets and achievements.
  • Escalate issues to senior management within an appropriate time frame.
  • Provide warehouse management with end of day / shift handover information.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems
  • Experience in RF Scanning and Inventory Control
  • Good team skills to be able to work with others.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and problemsolving.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good knowledge of record keeping.
  • Great attention to details.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$ $30.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

  • Full Driver Licence (required)
