What's on offer?
The Procurement Category Manager is responsible for end-to-end supplier management from trial and implementation, price, and contractual negotiations through to performance management.
They work with business partners to assess our needs, develop, and execute category management strategies and drive improvements in Time, Service, Quality & Safety across our supplier base.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute supplier implementation plans
- Conduct in depth analysis of purchasing bids and proposals
- Maintain accurate records and price files
- Maintain cost movement allowance with the brand estimating teams
- Negotiate improvement plans with key suppliers
- Develop strong supplier relationships
- Purchasing recommendations for new and existing purchasing agreements
- Compliance audits

It's critical for the Procurement Category Manager to develop and maintain great relationships with all stakeholders and communicate exceptionally well to all levels of the organisations.
